Switched from Excel, pretty smooth

So, I finally decided to move my inventory tracking from Excel to something more modern, and a friend told me about Grist. I tried out their inventory management template, and it was actually pretty intuitive to get my data in there. The Excel import feature was a lifesaver, saved me hours of manual entry. I was a bit worried about learning something new, but it wasn't too bad. The self-hosted option looked interesting but I just went with Grist Team. It handles relational data much better than I could ever do in Excel, which is a big plus. Overall, a solid experience and my stock levels are much clearer now.

Good for data management

I used Grist Personal to organize project data. It's much better than my old spreadsheets. Took a bit to set up, but it works. The relational features are handy.

Got good value with Team plan

I was looking for a good alternative to Smartsheet for my team and Grist caught my eye. We went with the Team plan, paying annually, which saved us a decent chunk compared to monthly. The multi-user collaboration works well. It was a good deal, especially with the annual discount. Setting up the access control rules took some time, but it's worth it for the control.
